Theatreworks
I trained at LAMDA and graduated into regional repertory, middle scale touring and small scale theatre.
In 2008 I stepped back from the professional world and have spent the last 12 years "keeping my hand in" with a number of groups in Buckinghamshire.
Acting has taken a back seat in recent years and been replaced nearly wholly by directing, which has become an obsession - especially Shakespeare.

John | Oleanna
Harrogate Repertory Theatre
My first season out of drama school couldn't have gone better, really. Having signed up for a small featured part in The Boys From Syracuse I was kept on for the whole season, and offered John in Oleanna. Directed by Andrew Manley and working with the brilliant Jennifer Luckcraft it is still in my top 5 favourite plays/parts.
Pozzo | Waiting for Godot
Wycombe Swan Theatre
I love Pozzo. Probably the best piece of work I have ever done. Beautifully directed by Carla Quelch and the first and only time I have worked on stage with Ryan Witney.
Dysart | Equus
Lancaster Arts Centre
Dysart took me a little by surprise. I knew when I started he was going to be a bit of a beast; but only really appreciated the scope of the man and the clarity of the writing during the first run. Alfred Hurst kept me on my toes during a short; but exciting run.
King Lear | King Lear
The Wycombe Swan
As one of my breakout performances, this project holds a very special place in my heart. I couldn’t have worked with a better team, who provided me the support and guidance I needed to elevate my act. I’m proud to say that my performance received outstanding reviews, as did the work of the entire cast and crew.

For the last two years I have worked with Chiltern Shakespeare Company consolidating on the work by Jack Sain to improve the quality of the shows. Hall Barn Open Air Theatre is a joy to work in, and with a company whose sole raison d'être is Shakespeare
Theatre for Children
2021-2022
Chilterns Theatre Company open air plays for young people became my favourite gig of recent times. No lighting, minimal (touring) set and bags of imagination. Alice in Wonderland, James and the Giant Peach and The Wind in the Willows

A new Shakespeare for me. Grateful for an excellent team. Set: Alex Marker | Lighting: Alisdair Graebner | Costume and Photos: Carla Evans | Sound: Russell Fleet

My love, outside of theatre, is contemporary dance. In 2019 as part of NT Connections, a piece was commissioned which combined dance and text. It was an intriguing piece to work on and eminently satisfying.
